You can simplify updates and contributions
by creating a report file from your payroll system. Each pay
period, this file can facilitate mass transfer of data and
minimize your manual input. To get a list of what type of
data you'll need and field specifications for each file transmission,
choose from the list below.
1. new
group/mass add for employers new to the program
to quickly add their employee census data (addresses,
birth dates, hire dates, etc.) |
2. Payroll
Data Interchange (PDI) for ongoing use of the
full range of Plan Service Center online functions: mass
updating of payroll data; processing contributions; tracking
compliance and vesting information |
3. PDI,
no contributions for handling payroll updates,
compliance and vesting records separately from ongoing
contributions (typically used by large employers) |
4. contributions
only for submitting participant contribution
amounts without address or compliance data |
5. updates/contributions
only for updating employee census information
and processing contributions; does not include compliance
or vesting information (usually used by employers who
contract with an outside vendor for these functions) |
6. takeover
vesting service years updates our system for
vesting years and percent vested |
7. country
codes abbreviations you'll need for employees
who reside outside of the United States |
